Royelle concentrates her practice on trusts and estates matters, with a focus on multi-generational families, for clients of significant wealth and their closely-held business and family offices. 

She has well over a decade of experience in designing and implementing sophisticated and personalized estate plans on local, national and international levels.  As part of her practice, Royelle advises clients with regard to all aspects of business succession, tax and charitable planning, as well as trust and estate administration, including filing estate and gift tax returns.  Royelle’s practice often involves the implementation of sales to grantor trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts (GRATs), charitable lead and remainder trusts designed to leverage use of clients’ gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax exemptions and to pass wealth to the next generation in a tax efficient manner.

Royelle began her legal career at one of the largest law firms in St. Louis, Missouri.  Prior to joining Actuate, she worked at two Am Law 100 law firms in Chicago.
